PM to break silence on corruption in plenary meet

Manmohan Singh
New Delhi, Dec 20: Several corruption charges have been raised against Congress led UPA government recently and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been criticised by the oppositions simultaneously. But Singh will address all allegations on the second day of plenary meeting in the capital on Monday, Dec 20.

Congress faced so many corruption charges starting from CWG to 2G spectrum; Adarsh housing scam to backing former telecom minister A Raja.

On the first day of the session on Dec 19, Congress President Sonia Gandhi already had taken a hand on the main opposition BJP by asking them to drop their (BJP) corrupted politicians.

Mrs Gandhi also issued an order to inspect the link between terrorists and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Criticising the 'worthless' criticism of the oppositions on the prime minister, Sonia at the session claimed that Singh is a picture of wisdom and sobriety.

Though corruption issues are expected to be discussed in the session, sources informed that the main agenda of the prime minister at the meeting will be the economic matters.
