TDP leader's condition worsens; Hyd volatile

He was forcibly hospitalised as he refused medicines and has been surviving on just water for the last couple of days. He is admitted to the Nizam"s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS). Many TDP supporters tried to resist police advances of the arrest. There was a sizable crowd of supporters who prevented police officials from entering the area.
Naidu appeared steadfast in his resolve to go ahead with the fasting inspite of his failing health. The TDP had called for a state bandh against the arrest. There was violence and cases of destruction of public property.
N Lokesh Naidu, son of Chandrababu Naidu and other supporters suffered minor injuries in the melee.
