Obama home alone as family goes on vacation

Washington, Dec 18 (ANI): Work seems to be taking its toll on US President Barack Obama, who he will be left behind alone at home while his family vacations starting Saturday.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said that Michelle Obama and the couple's daughters Malia and Sasa Sasha will likely head to Hawaii Saturday for the family's annual vacation there along with First dog Bo, reports the Washington Post.

But the president, who was also supposed to depart on Saturday, will stay in Washington holding meetings and calling lawmakers until Congress leaves for the holidays.

Congress has not said when it will finish its work yet, leaving Obama in vacation limbo for now. (ANI)
