Wait and see, says DMK over CBI 2G scam raids

DMK sources said that the party will wait and watch before forming any opinion on breaking the ties with any party. But, some leaders said they had expressed their grievance to Congress over the raids.
Earlier, on Wednesday, Dec 15 media reported that DMK was planning to break the ties with UPA over the CBI raids in firms connected with the party. CBI had raided 'Tamil Maiyam', a NGO patronised by Rajya Sabha MP and Chief Minister Karunanidhi's daughter, Kanimozhi.
Corruption allegations on Kanimozhi, the prominent DMK figure in Delhi, have aroused anger among many DMK leaders including DMK chief Karunanidhi.
Meanwhile, Supreme Court announced that it would supervise the CBI in the inquiry of 1.76 lakh crore 2G spectrum scam from 2001 to 2008.
