Bug eyed pooch with crooked teeth may be UK's ugliest

London, Dec 16 (ANI): A bug eyed pet dog with crooked teeth could be Britain's ugliest pooch.

The partially blind two-year-old pointer cross had been ignored for months at an animal shelter, where he had been nicknamed Ug, until cafe worker April Parker, 35, spotted him on the Mayflower sanctuary's website.

She took her daughters Skye, 15, and Jasmin, 13, to see him in Doncaster, South Yorks, and since they were all smitten, she paid 200 pounds to take him and renamed him Doug.

"When people see him they do a double take. He looks comical with his bug eyes and cross teeth and he's always bumping into things," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"But he has a fantastic temperament and is really loving," she added. (ANI)
