New Delhi, Dec 14: Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh strongly advertised the statement that he had a conversation with ATS chief Hemant Karkare on phone, two hours before he was killed in 26/11 mumbai terror attack. Digvijiaya has disclosed the mobile number that used, to speak with Karkare.

Digvijay said, “we both (Karkare and Digvijaya) spoke from a BSNL number +919425015461. I have asked the BSNL service provider to give the call record details of Nov 26, 2008, but they said that they won't maintain the record of more than 13 months. However, I requested authorities to help with the details," he added, “why should I lie in such a matter?," reported by the Indian Express.

Digvijay told he passed this number to his personal staff after using for sometime.

Digvijay claimed that ATS chief Karkare called him on 26/11 and told he was frightened by the threat calls from some people, who didn't like him probing into Malegaon bomb blast in which Hindu extremists were accused.

Digvijay also added, there is no doubt in that, “Karkare was killed by Pakistan terrorists."
