Tributes paid to Kannada journalist Gulwadi
New Delhi, Dec 13 (ANI): A large number of Kannada writers, journalists, artists and academicians here today paid tributes to a distinguished Kannada journalist Santosh Kumar Gulwadi, who died at Bangalore on December 7. He was 72.
In the condolence meeting organised by "Dehali Kannadiga" a Kannada monthly published from Delhi, M.B. Samaga said that as the editor of 'Taranga' a Kannada weekly, Gulwadi had stared a new era in Kannada journalism.
Gulwadi had authored seven books in Kannada and received the Karnataka Sahitya Academy award, Karanataka Rajyostava award. (ANI)
