Tamil song 'offensive to Hindu deities' creates uproar
Kuala Lumpur, Dec 11 (ANI): A Tamil song has hurt the religious sentiments of Hindu Makkal Katchi party members, who say the lyrics are offensive to Hindu gods.
A song in the Tamil movie Manmadhan Ambu, due for release soon, makes insulting references to Hindu gods like Aranganathar and Sri Varalakshmi, the members have claimed.
The movie stars Kamal Haasan and actress Trisha Krishnan, reports the Star Online.
The members said that legal notices would be served on the movie's producer Udhayanidhi Stalin and its director K. S. Ravikumar. (ANI)
