Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar is 70

New Delhi, Dec.10 (ANI): Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar Sharad Pawar celebrated his 70th birthday with friends and supporters here on Friday.

Pawar is the president of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), which he founded in 1999, after separating from the Indian National Congress.

He has previously held the posts of Minister of Defence and Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

Pawar released a book compiled by his supporters constituting his political career and a collection of public debates titled 'Dr. Sharad Pawar'.

Apart from the political portfolio, Pawar is also the incumbent president of International Cricket Council (ICC). (ANI)
