2G scam: CBI starts questioning A Raja

New Delhi, Dec 10: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials have started questioning the former Union Telecom Minister A Raja in connection with the 2G spectrum allotment scam.

Sources said that CBI officials also grilling A Raja's aide Chandolia. The new move by CBI has came after raiding Raja's residence in Chennai and Delhi.

Sources in CBI reported that they had seized personal diaries of A Raja during the raid. Sources also added that these diaries, written in English and Tamil, contains names of a few hawala dealers who may had exported money to foreign countries.

Following the 2G spectrum scam allegations, CBI raided houses and offices of A Raja, his relatives and aides on Wednesday, Dec 8.
