CBI raid on A Raja separates DMK leaders?
Eventhough DMK chief Karunanidhi extended full support on Raja, some leaders are not happy with his decision on Raja. Sources close to DMK reported that some of the leaders want Raja's resignation from party key positions.
Sources also added that DMK leaders like Union Cabinet Minister MK Alagiri, deputy chief MK Stalin, Kalanidhi Maran and Dayanidhi Maran have the opinion that resignation of Raja would help DMK to get a clean image to compete in Assembly polls.
After the CBI raid, media reported that DMK is not happy with Congress' decision over Raja.
It is expected that DMK would not sacrifice Congress alliance to save A Raja. DMK still fears the chance of Congress-AIADMK alliance as their rival and AIADMK supremo, Jayalalithaa, offered her "unconditional" support to UPA to sack Raja over allegations of 2G spectrum scam.
