2G scam: CBI starts raids on A Raja & aides

New Delhi, Dec 8: Following the allegations of corruption in 2G spectrum, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has started raids on former Union Telecom Minister A Raja and his aides.

CBI officials has raided A Raja's residences in New Delhi and Chennai. Media also reported that CBI has been raiding the houses and offices of A Raja's aides simultaneously.

CBI officials started raid in houses of scam tainted A Raja on Wednesday, Dec 8 morning. Officials said that they are also raiding former telecom secretary Behuria and another Raja aide, Chandollia.

A Raja had resigned as the telecom minister followed by the allegations of 2G spectrum scam. The Opposition parties' demand for Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to 2G spectrum scam has been continued the deadlock of the parliament for the continuous 18th day.
