Terrorists launch rocket attacks in South Waziristan following Kayani visit, no casualties
Wana, Dec 7 (ANI): At least four rockets were fired in Pakistan's South Waziristan Agency (SWA) by terrorists, following Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Kayani's visit in the area.
According to sources, the rocket attacks took place as soon as Kayani left the area after visiting Laddha, Geo News reported.
Security personnel retaliated with gunfire, pre-empting any further terror attack.
The media team present to cover the army chief's visit was also left to hide in a bunker; however, no casualties were thus far reported in the incident. (ANI)
