Facebook changing face

New York, Dec 7: Facebook is designing a brand new profile layout for its users, that counts to more than 500 million around the world. The new profile layout would be available for the user by 2011.

This new Facebook profile allows users to tell stories in an easier way and to express their real lives. It carries all the information about the users like, who they are, their life philosophy, their job, relationship status, the users witness bigger change in terms of visuals.

The new profile layout includes a new biography section with personal information of users; not just on who they are and where they live but users can also have important friends in their profile, while previously only random selections would appear.

Previously the user need to click on a tab to check the latest photos tagged by his friends but in the new layout user can view it in the profile page itself. The users can also upload projects worked by him related to his list of jobs.

These features helps to get the perfect picture of the person. But the company has not made any changes to is privacy policy in its process of redesigning Facebook.

“We will slowly implement the changes because even a small changes in profile will make users protest. Many users wanted the profile to remain as the way they are. That is the reason Facebook decided to roll out the changes and allowing the users to decide whether they want the new or old profile layout," CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg said.
