Speaker accepts resignation; Jagan starts new era

"I have to inform the House that I have received a letter dated November 29 from Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy, an elected member from Kadapa parliamentary constituency of Andhra Pradesh resigning from the membership of the Lok Sabha. I have accepted his resignation with effect from November 29," Miera Kumar said.
YS Jagan, son of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister late YS Rajashekhara Reddy, had resigned from Congress citing the humiliation he faced from AICC and Andhra Pradesh Congress leaders.
YS Jagan is planning to launch a new political party in Andhra Pradesh. He invited other Congress leaders to join his political party. Sources reported that resigned Tourism Minister Vatti Vasantha Kumar may join Jagan's camp.
Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) was trying to make an alliance with Jagan. Some of the senior BJP leaders have contacted YS Jagan and offered the support.
