Rebels attend Cabinet meet; Jagan woos ministers

The rebel ministers, who were unhappy with the portfolios they received in the Cabinet, attended the metting after speaking to Congress national leaders. Earlier on Thursday, Union Law Minister and AICC in-charge of Andhra Pradesh, Veerappa Moily and Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad spoke to rebel leader Botsa Satyanarayana.
"I never said I am unhappy with the portfolio. But the distribution of portfolios, funds allocation and other issues should have a scientific method. Backward classes, who constitute 80 per cent of population, should get proper representation. I told our leadership that some negligence took place on this count," Satyanarayana said after the Cabinet meeting.
However, the resigned Tourism Minister Vatti Vasantha Kumar did not attend the Cabinet meeting. Sources close to Vasantha Kumar said that he is planning to team up with YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
YS Jagan, former Kadapa MP and son of former Chief Minister late YS Rajashekhara Reddy, has announced the plan of launching the new party. He said that he will launch the party soon and also he invited other unhappy Congress leaders to join his new party.
