Larsen & Toubro Groups win award of 415 crores

Mumbai, Dec 2: Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) pocketed two big money project recently which worth 415 crores. The two largest aluminium companies of asia Hindalco and Sepco-I had passed their contracts to L&T Groups.

Hindalco Industries Limited, the metals flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group gave Order to L&T Groups worth 253 crores to carry out structural steel works for the 6x150 MW captive power plant in Orrisa.

The Sepco-I signed a order with L&T worth 162 crores for rising of boilers for their 2x660 MW Talwandi Sabo Power plant, developed by Sterlite Energy Limited in Punjab. Sepco-I had already offered 225 crores to L&T during the first quarter of this year for carrying out civil works for this project.

L&T Limited his basically a technology, engineering, construction company and one of the largest and most respected company in India's private sector. L&T"s linked up with the construction of gas and coal based power plants in India and abroad spans nearly six decades. The company is leading in constructing power plants in the country.

Besides, holds a good figure in business, showing high performance with world class quality and safety records. The L&T is known for his timely completion of projects. The company bagged several domestic as well as international awards for Occupational Health and Safety.

L&T has successfully worked on many projects and completed within the time frame it has executed projects for public sector units, state electricity boards, independent power producers and global EPC players in power generation domain
