BPO employee gang-rape: Two suspects held

New Delhi, Dec 2: Haryana police has arrested two suspects in connection with the gang rape of a BPO employee on Nov 24 at the capital.

Police arrested the suspects, Shamshad and Usman on Wednesday, Dec 1 night. Earlier, Delhi police had issued sketches of the three suspects in connection with the case.

The 30-year-old BPO employee from Manipur was abducted and raped in a moving car while returning from job. Later suspects left her in a secluded place in semi-conscious state.

Earlier in Nov 2010, a DU student-cum-BPO employee was kidnapped and raped by four culprits. She was raped by an auto-rickshaw driver and his friends while waiting for her office cab at the main road of Pandav Nagar.

The culprits held her captive and gang-raped her at knife-point. They also robbed the girl of her valuables before abandoning her.
