India denies visa to ex-Pak Prez Musharaff

New Delhi, Dec 1: Indian government has denied visa to former Pakistan President Parvez Musharaff on Wednesday, Dec 1.

Musharaff, the Pakistan military ruler who uprooted the Nawaz Sharif government through a military revolution in 1999, was trying to reach in India for attending a conference.

Sources close to Home Ministry revealed that government has not given any reason for the denial.

Musharraf ruled Pakistan for nine years. Now he has been living in exile in London after being forced to quit power in 2008 following democratic elections.

Musharaff had launched his political party, called All-Pakistan Muslim League (APML), in Oct 2010 and revealed his wish to return to Pakistan.
