Nifity closes on strong note, above 5950

Mumbai, Dec 1: The Sensex concluded on a positive note. The benchmark Nifty held 5950 level. Index this week continued to stay on top. Positive global prompts helped market to maintain the uptrend this week and trading almost in all the sectors left a solid mark on markets.

At 4.30 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,850.00 up 328.75 points and NSE Nifty was 5,960.90 up 98.20 points.

Most active traders in market on Wednesday, Dec 1, are SBI, Tata Motors, Tata Steels and ICICI Bank.

Top gainers are Suzlon Energy pu 7.96 percent, Rel Capital up 6.43 percent, Cipla up 6.36 percent and Tata Steel up 4.92 percent.

Top losers are Hero Honda down 2.89 percent, Bharti Airtel down 2.67 percent, Sesa Goa down 2.65 percent, Wipro down 1.17 percent.

Nifty continues on +Ve notes; above 5950
Trading continued on a positive note and benchmark Nifty was holding above 5950 level. Market was supported by oil & gas, financial, auto, metal, realty, power and select capital goods companies' shares.

Bharti Airtel, Wipro, ITC, Ambuja Cements, Sesa Goa and Dr Reddy's Labs were witnessing loss.

At 2.50 hrs BSE Sensex was 19,824.33 up 303.08 points and NSE Nifty was 5,955.65 up 92.95 points.

The most active in trading were SBI, Tata Motors, Tata Steels and ICICI Bank.

The top gainers were Suzlon Energy up 6.49 percent, Rel Capital up 6.00 percent, ONGC up 3.88 percent, Tata Steel up 4.92 percent and Cipla up 7.19.

The top losers were Bharati Airtel down 2.08 percent, Hero Honda down 2.62 percent, Sesa Goa down 2.96 percent and Wipro down 1.10 percent

Market opens on +Ve note amid volatility
Market started trading on a positive note and benchmark Nifty was heading towards 5900 level.

Hindalco, Jindal Steel, TCS, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, HCL Tech, ACC, M&M, ONGC, SAIL, Reliance Communications, Siemens, ICICI Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank were witnessing buying pressure.

Bharti Airtel, Jaiprakash Associates, PNB, DLF, Hero Honda, Reliance Power and NTPC were witnessing selling pressure

At 09.40 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,600.17 up 78.92 points and NSE Nifty was 5,888.60 up 25.90 points.

The most active in trading were SBI, Tata Motors, Tata Steels and Reliance.

The top gainers were Hindalco up 3.32 percent, Jindal Steel up 2.79 percent, Tata Steel up 2.42 percent and Axis Bank up 2.21 percent.

The top losers were Bharati Airtel down 2.43 percent, Sesa Goa down 1.77 percent, Wipro down 1.14 percent and ITC down 0.81 percent.
