N. Korea to develop nuclear capability for peaceful use
New Delhi, Nov.30 (ANI): A North Korean daily has said that his country is actively constructing light-water reactors, but only for peaceful use.
The Rodong Sinmun daily said in a report that "thousands" of centrifuges are in operation at a uranium enrichment plant.he move was for "peaceful use," the article said, adding that the development and use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes have become a global trend.
Nuclear capability on peaceful purpose is not a monopoly of some countries, but the reasonable right of developing countries, Xinhua quoted it, as saying.
Currently, some western countries connived at the nuclear activities of countries pleasing to its eyes while inflicting pressure and dealing sanctions to some "indocile" countries.
This is unjust "double standard," it claimed. (ANI)
