Market ends on green; DLF, Airtel surge

Mumbai, Nov 30: Market ended on a positive note led by heavyweights like SBI, Bharti Airtel, NTPC, DLF, Tata Motors, BHEL, TCS and ITC.

At 05.00 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,521.25 up 116.15 points and NSE Nifty was 5,862.70 up 32.70 points.

The top gainers were DLF up 7.11 percent, Bharati Airtel up 6.33 percent, Tata Motors up 4.13 percent and SBI up 3.90 percent.

The top losers were ACC down 1.38 percent, Reliance down 1.28 percent, Sesa Goa down 1.24 percent and Tata Steel down 1.19 percent.

Market trades on +Ve note; SBI, DLF up
Selling in heavyweights like Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank, L&T, ONGC, Infosys and HDFC caused the fall of BSE Sensex by 150 points.

Bharti Airtel, SBI, DLF, BHEL and NTPC were supporting the market.

At 12.50 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19538.11 up 133.01 points and NSE Nifty was 5870.00 up 40.00 points.

The most active in trading were SBI, ICICI Bank, Reliance, and Tata Steel.

The top gainers were DLF up 5.71 percent, Bharati Airtel up 4.96 percent, Axis Bank up 3.84 percent and Jindal Steel up 3.70 percent.

The top losers were BPCL down 1.59 percent, Bajaj Auto down 1.39 percent, ACC down 1.36 percent and Larsen down 1.33 percent.

Market opens on -Ve note; ONGC, Reliance down
Market started trading on a negative note following the weak global cues. The bench mark Nifty slipped below 5800 level in opening trade.

Telecom companies, Sesa Goa, Hindalco, Sterlite Industries, DLF, Bajaj Auto, ONGC, Reliance Industries, Tata Motors, IDFC, Bharti Airtel, Suzlon Energy, Infosys, Reliance Infrastructure, Reliance Capital and PNB were witnessing selling pressure.

At 09.50 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,263.60 down 141.50 points and NSE Nifty was 5,786.70 down 43.30 points.

The most active in trading were SBI, ICICI Bank, Reliance, and Bharati Airtel.

The top gainers were Ranbaxy Labs up 1.66 percent, Bharati Airtel up 1.56 percent, Reliance Infra up 1.36 percent and Siemens up 0.26 percent.

The top losers were SAIL down 1.82 percent, Sterlite Ind down 1.67 percent, Ambuja cements down 1.66 percent and Jaiprakash Ass down 1.63 percent.
