Three militants, policeman killed in Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov 29 (ANI): At least three militants and a policeman were killed in a shoot-out after the ultras hurled a grenade at security personnel in Srinagar today.

" Three motorcycle-borne people hurled a grenade towards security forces at Qamarwari on Srinagar-Baramulla National highway, said Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Shiv Murari Sahai.

The security personnel retaliated, resulting in the death of all the three militants in the incident, Sahai added.

The area has been cordoned off and the identity of the slain militants is still to be established.

Two pistols and five grenades were recovered from the slain militants. (ANI)
