Kalmadi surfaces, wants to reveal secrets in Parl

New Delhi, Nov 29: Finally, the 'missing' Commonwealth Games Oraganizing Committe Chairman Suresh Kalmadi surfaced in Delhi. After returning to the country from the Asian Games in China, Kalmadi addressed media and welcomed investigation into allegations of corruption in the CWG.

While addressing the media, Kalmadi said, "I will make a statement on the entire CWG controversy in Parliament. The matter is subjudice, but I am willing and available to answer all the questions posed by the investigating agency."

He also added that he was not involved in the construction work related to the Commonwealth Games and his work was to to organise the Games, including the closing and opening ceremony.

Meanwhile, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) may question Kalmadi in connection with the scam related Queens Baton Relay. Earlier CBI had arrested two officials related to the CWG.
