Nifty closes above 5800 level; Cairn, Sesa surge

At 04.15 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,405.10 up 268.49 points and NSE Nifty was 5,830.00 up 78.05 points.
The top gainers were Cairn India up 6.67 percent, Sesa Goa up 4.01 percent, Ranbaxy Labs up 3.81 percent and Reliance up 3.75 percent.
The top losers were Reliance Infra down 3.54 percent, Power Grid down 2.70 percent, Reliance Comm down 2.15 percent and Tata Steel down 1.27 percent.

Nifty trades above 5800 level
The benchmark Nifty continued trading in green followed by the buying in all sectoral indices. The positive cues from European markets also helped Nifty to hold above 5800 level.
Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) companies' shares along with Power Grid, Bajaj Auto, Tata Steel, ITC, Siemens, ACC and Axis Bank were on sellers' radar.
At 03.15 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,431.30 up 294.69 points and NSE Nifty was 5,833.55 up 81.60 points.
The most active in trading were SBI, ICICI Bank, Reliance, and Tata Steel.
The top gainers were Cairn India up 6.09 percent, Sesa Goa up 4.01 percent, Reliance up 3.69 percent and Ranbaxy Labs up 3.57 percent.
The top losers were Reliance Infra down 3.50 percent, Power Grid down 2.59 percent, Reliance Comm down 2.15 percent and Tata Steel down 1.22 percent.

Market continues in red amid volatility
Markets were trying to maintain the early gains. Technology, banking, capital goods and healthcare companies' shares were witnessing buying interest.
Cement companies' shares, ONGC, ITC, Power Grid, Tata Steel, DLF, Sesa Goa and Hindalco were witnessing selling pressure.
At 12.50 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,307.46 up 170.85 points and NSE Nifty was 5,787.45 up 35.50 points.
The most active in trading were SBI, ICICI Bank, Reliance, and Tata Steel.
The top gainers were Cairn India up 5.19 percent, Ranbaxy Labs up 4.66 percent, BHEL up 3.83 percent and Reliance up 2.67 percent.
The top losers were Reliance Infra down 4.68 percent and Reliance Comm down 3.18 percent, Power Grid down 2.64 percent and ACC down 2.49 percent.

Market opens on +Ve note; Jaiprakash, Axis up
Markets started trading on a positive note after a sell-off for last four days. Nifty gained during opening trade but that could not sustain for long.
Markets started witnessing selling at higher levels as traders pull back for profit booking.
Jaiprakash Associates, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Cairn India, HCL Tech, TCS, Wipro, Sterlite Industries and SAIL were on buyer's radar.
DLF, Reliance Communications, Power Grid, Sesa Goa, Reliance Infrastructure and Reliance Power were witnessing selling pressure.
At 09.5o hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,239.02 up 102.41 points and NSE Nifty was 5,786.40 up 34.45 points.
The most active in trading were SBI, ICICI Bank, Reliance, and Tata Steel.
The top gainers were Ranbaxy Labs up 4.62 percent, Cairn India up 3.20 percent, ICICI Bank up 2.53 percent and Sterlite Ind up 1.96 percent.
The top losers were Power Grid down 2.70 percent, Bajaj Auto down 2.31 percent, Reliance Com down 2.26 percent and Reliance Infra down 2.23 percent.
