Separatist leader Mirwaiz faces attack in Kolkata

Kolkata, Nov 28: After facing a severe attack fron Kashmiri Pandits at Chandigarh, Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farook has faced another protest in Kolkata on Sunday, Nov 28.

Mirwaiz Umar Farook was greeted by protest from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) supporters while he attended a seminar in Kolkota. Police arrested more than fifteen BJP workers in connection with the protest.

Earlier, on Thursday, Nov 25, Mirwaiz was attacked by Kashmiri Pandits and activists of Hindu groups far an anti-India speech.

During his speech on Kashmir and Indo-Pak relation, Mirwaiz was manhandled and the attackers destroyed commodities of the seminar hall.
