26/11: Truth unknown; Kasab seeks retrial

Ajmal Kasab
Mumbai, Nov 26: The sole detained terrorists in Mumbai 26/11 attacks Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab on the eve of the second anniversary of the deadly incident, claimed that truth is still unknown and he again sought a fresh trial.

Kasab's lawyers Amin Solkar and Farhana Shah on Nov 26 stated, "The truth has not come out" as several witnesses have not been questioned by the Bombay High Court.

Kasab's lawyers also claimed that while other militants were given significant terror targets, Kasab was not instructed with such command.

"Malabar Hill (the place where Kasab was allegedly told to go) is not a target. If he was told to go to Malabar Hill and attack the Raj Bhavan that would have been a target," argued the militant's lawyers.

The Bombay High Court is going through the trial case of Kasab, who received hanged till death order over his role in 26/11 attacks, from another apex court.
