26/11 completes 2yrs; India slams Pak for inaction

Mumbai terror attack
Mumbai, Nov 26: Two years of the deadly Mumbai attacks, which can be easily identified as "26/11", has been completed, but Pakistan is yet to provide the voice recordings of the suspected terrorists. India on the eve of the terror attacks anniversary slammed Pakistan for its inaction.

Pakistan as it promised earlier, did not give any information about the seven accused related to the Mumbai attacks, stated government officials.

"The Government of India has conveyed to Pakistan its regret that despite the repeated assurances given by Pakistan in connection with the ongoing trial and investigation in Pakistan on the Mumbai terrorist attacks, substantive and verifiable progress has not been made on bringing all the perpetrators and masterminds of the heinous attacks to justice," informed the government official.

However, India remembered the martyrs and the 166 victims killed in the attacks with memorial events and prayer meetings.

Citing other fresh and more terrible attacks' threats, Indian government has beefed up security in several places in the nation but especially in Mumbai.

"With (the) terror threat lingering over the city in the view of the second anniversary of 26/11, we have made elaborate security arrangements and Mumbai has been put on alert," Mumbai senior police officer stated.
