Google gives Thanksgiving Day recipes on doodle

New York, Nov 25: California based internet giant Google Inc has celebrated 'Thanksgiving Day' with a special doodle on its homepage in selected countries on Wednesday, Nov 24.

Unlike other doodles, this time Google has started changing the doodle two days in advance, showcasing the ingredients for two of six recipes by renowned cook Ina Garten.

The doodle on Thanksgiving Day painted the images of the dishes created with the six recipes. The six recipes include 'Perfect Roast Turkey with Herb and Apple Stuffing,' 'Popovers,' 'Smashed Sweet Potatoes,' 'Roasted Brussels Sprouts,' 'Cranberry Fruit Conserve,' and 'Pumpkin Banana Mousse Tart.'

The Thanksgiving Day doodle was an interactive doodle, which redirects users to a specially set-up webpage featuring the six recipes by Ina Garten.
