Ahmedabad: Auto driver held for raping foreigner

Ahmedabad, Nov 23: Gujarat police has arrested an auto rickshaw driver for sexually harassing a Taiwanese woman.

Police officials said that the auto rickshaw driver, a native of Rajasthan, sexually assaulter the foreigner on Monday, Nov 22 night.

While traveling in his auto, Taiwanese woman, who was working with a private firm in Vastrapur, was taken to a secret place and raped.

"We have arrested one auto rickshaw driver Punam Dhobi, a native of Bhilwara district in Rajasthan in connection with the sexual assault case on a foreign national in the city," I Satish Sharma, joint commissioner of police sector said.
