BS Yeddyurappa
Bangalore, Nov 22: Amid rumors of resignation, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa on Monday, Nov 22 left for Puttaparthi to participate in the ongoing 85th birthday celebrations of Satya Sai Baba.

Earlier on the day, media reported that Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) asked Yeddyurappa to resign from CM post following the land scam allegations. Reporta also added that BJP will announce the resignation of BSY on Monday, before the Parliament meet.

But, sources close to Yeddyurappa camp said that BJP core committee has not taken any decision on Yeddyurappa's resignation. BSY canceled his Delhi trip to meet Party President Nithin Gadkari and other core committee members. Sources also added that BSY has not taken any decision about his Delhi trip.

Meanwhile, Karnataka Higher Education Minister VS Acharaya said media that BJP High Command has not taken the final decision over Yeddyurappa's resignation.

Yeddyurappa went to Puttaparthi to seek the blessings of Sri Satya Sai Baba. Earlier during the trust vote drama in Oct 2010, Yeddyurappa headed to Kerala temple for blessings. After his visit, BSY successfully overcame the threat from Janatha Dal and his own MLAs.

This time, will God save Yeddyurappa to keep his CM duty?
