Nifty above 6K pts; Wipro, bank up
The 30-share BSE Sensex rallied 372.15 points or 1.90 percent to close at 19,957.59. Short covering could be another reason that led this upmove; the CNX Nifty surged 119.70 points or 2.03 percent to settle at 6,010.
IDFC, Wipro, Jaiprakash Asso, Kotak Mahindra, who among the top gainers, were at 4.55 percent, 4.35 percent, 4.31 percent, 4.28 percent up respectively.

Nifty touches 6000 level; IDFC, Axis surge
Buying in all sectors and positive European cues have helped the benchmark Nifty to reach 6000 level on Monday, Nov 22.
At 2.45 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,950.78 up 365.34 points and NSE Nifty was 6,004.50 up 114.20 points.
The most active in trading were SBI, Reliance, Axis bank and Tata Steel.
The top gainers were IDFC up 4.79 percent, Axis bank 4.15 percent, Wipro up 4.12 percent and Jaiprakash Asso up 4.02 percent.
