2G: Parliament adjourned again; all party to meet

Indian Parliament
New Delhi, Nov 22: Once again both houses of the Parliament have been adjourned on Nov 22 till Nov 23 following Oppositions' old demand of Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe on former Telecom Minister A Raja.

On the other side, Congress led UPA government would try another time to break the logjam in the Parliament as they summoned for an all party meeting on the issue at 1pm on the same day.

Senior Congress leader and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee called for the all party meeting to get a solution on the adamant demand of the Oppositions including BJP, left and other parties.

On the basis of the CAG report, Opposition continued to demand for JPC investigation on Raja and 2G Spectrum scam, which allegedly caused Rs.1.76 lakh crore to the nation.

However, the UPA government continued refuting the demand as they reiterated that maintaining the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) is enough.
