Cong war: Jagan's channel slams Sonia; row in AP

Hyderabad, Nov 21: A fresh clash has been reported in the domain of Congress party. The TV channel of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YSR's son Jaganmohan Reddy reportedly criticised Sonia Gandhi and the Prime Minister. The current CM of the state protested against the channel and Jagan on Nov 20.

The channel Saakshi on Nov 19 and Nov 20 reportedly aired a programme criticising Sonia's leadership as a failure and PM as her rubber stamp.

The Chief Minister of the state K Rosaiah claimed, "It is highly deplorable and reprehensible to comment adversely on her (Sonia Gandhi) early life which is not resorted to even by the worst opponents."

"The way the story has been built up and broadcast, I have strong objection. I said it very clearly there is no ambiguity about it," he added.

The programme aired after the rop Congress leaders rejected to accept Jagan's claim to succeed his father YS Rajasekhara Reddy as Andhra Pradesh CM.

Other Congress leaders strongly criticised the programme and demanded for immediate apology from the channel.
