Barbara Bush hopes 'beautiful' Sarah Palin 'stays in Alaska'
New York, Nov 21 (ANI): Former First Lady Barbara Bush has said that she 'hopes' Sarah Palin stays in Alaska.
Barbara shared her thoughts on Palin in a television interview, and it sounds as if she hopes the former Alaska governor decides against running for president, reports The New York Daily News.
"I sat next to her once, thought she was beautiful, and I think she's very happy in Alaska and I hope she'll stay there," she said.
She made the comments on Larry King Live, where she appeared with her husband, former President George H.W. Bush.
Palin has been the face of the Tea Party and is currently on tour promoting her latest book, 'America By Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith and Flag' which takes shots at President Obama and pop culture. (ANI)
