PM breaks silence, asks parties to allow Parl work

New Delhi, Nov 20: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh appealed all political parties to allow the smooth functioning of Parliament.

Speaking at Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, Manmohan Singh refused to talk about 2G spectrum scam by saying that the issue is before the Parliament.

PM said that he was facing test after tests. But, he added that India has to take all these tests as opportunities for development. He urged to deal all the corruption effectively and positively.

Dr Singh also hopeful about the growth of Indian economy at a rate of 8.5 percent. He added that India was progressing despite of many challenges. PM stated the need of investment in education, infrastructure and eco-friendly agriculture development.
