Gaza: Israel fighter jets attack Hamas tunnel

Jerusalem, Nov 20: The Israeli fighter jets attacked smuggling tunnel in Gaza on Saturday, Nov 20.

Israeli fighter jets targeted an Islamic Jihad base near Khan Yunes, a house in Deir El Balah, and an open space in Rafah.

Palestinian medical sources reported that four people were injured in the air-strike.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that the new attack came as a response to Hamas mortar attack on Israel. They added that in past two days Palestinian terrorists triggered more than 10 mortar rockets and a Grad rocket to Israel.

"The IDF will also continue to respond harshly to any attempt to use terror against the state of Israel," said IDF in a news release.
