Bigg Boss wins over govt; to be aired at 9 pm

Claiming the two reality shows as "Adult Shows", Information and Broadcasting (I&B) Ministry on Nov 17 ordered Big Boss and Raakhi Ka Insaaf, which airs on Imagine, to air after 11 pm.
Despite the ministry's order, Colors aired the show on its regular timing (9 pm) on Wednesday, Nov 17, which enraged the government.
Viacom 18, which owns Colors, however, challenged the ministry over its decision and the court stated, "No date has been mentioned as to when the show was against good taste and decency."
Accepting government's power to force a schedule change, the channel stated, "in this case our advertisement commitment and content has to change."
