Nokia C3-01 heading to India, may launch in Dec

Mumbai, Nov 17: India's most trusted mobile phone brand, Nokia is all set to launch its new affordable mobile, Nokia C3-01, which combines key pad functionality with touch display, in India.

Nokia C3-01, which also known as 'Touch & Type,' will be available in Indian market by Dec, 2010 first week. Nokia has launched C3-01 in UK market on Friday, Nov 12.

Nokia C3-01 has a 2.4-inch resistive touchscreen with 240x320 pixels resolution and a regular alphanumeric keypad for easy typing. This mobile is a Series 40 6th Edition Feature pack 1 phone supporting quad-band GSM, quad-band WCDMA, HSPA and WLAN.

The camera on the phone has 5 megapixel resolution and a LED flash. Other features on the 3G ready phone includes Stereo FM radio with RDS, Nokia Messaging 3.0 and preloaded applications for Facebook and Twitter.

Nokia C3-01 is expected to Indian market by Dec, 2010. The price will be around Rs 10,000. Any how, Nokia did not give any official date for release and price in India.
