New Delhi, Nov 17: After the Supreme Court raised question on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's inactiveness on the 2G Spectrum scandal and former Telecom Minister A Raja, Janata Party President and former Law Minister Subramaniam Swamy claimed that though the PM was not corrupted but was weak to take any decision.

"I'm not saying that the PM was corrupted but he was weak to take any strong action," stated Subramaniam on Nov 16.

He also said, "The court has said clearly that the Prime Minister must answer whether there was a delay in acting against Raja."

During hearing on Raja's 2G spectrum case, the court asked, "Can the sanctioning authority (Prime Minister) sit on the complaint."

Swamy in 2008 asked the Prime Minister his sanction to prosecute Raja with respect to the scam case. He got a reply from the Prime Minister's Office in 2010 that the CBI is investigating the matter.

However, the Opposition parties also raised voice against the Prime Minister's "inaction" for over sixteen months against Raja and 2G Spectrum.
