Bangalore, Nov 17 (ANI): Former Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and Janata Dal (Secular) leader H D Kumaraswamy on Wednesday demanded State Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa's resignation charging him of misusing his position to de-notify state-owned land to favour his sons.

He must quit the post; we are demanding for that, we are going to raise this subject in the Parliament in the coming days also," said Kumaraswamy, while addressing the media persons here today.

The State JD (S) President further said his party was in possession of document that pointed to the Chief Minister's role in the land scam.

"The land scam, which the media person are exposing now, it worth about 50-60 billion rupees. The de-notification subject, which was cleared by our Chief Minister, it is totally to favour his sons," said Kumaraswamy.

"The way, in which Chief Minister favoured his sons in de-notification subjects, we already produced in front of the media several documents, which were cleared by honourable Chief Minister," he added.
