Mumbai: CBI initiates probe in Adarsh scam

Mumbai, Nov 16: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) initiated its investigation into the Adarsh Housing scandal in Mumbai as its officials met Maharashtra chief secretary JP Dange on Tuesday, Nov 16.

After meeting with Dange, CBI Regional joint director Rishi Raj Singh stated, "The inquiry is on."

However, Dange also informed, "We have handed over necessary papers to the CBI team. The state government is also of the opinion that the guilty be punished."
