Sensex ends below 20K, Nifty below 6,000 again

The 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 19,865.14, down 444.55 points or 2.19 percent and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 132.90 points or 2.17 percent to settle at 5,988.70.
Bharti Airtel and Ranbaxy Labs, who among the top gainers, were at 1.23 percent, 0.55 percent up respectively.
Hindalco, Sterlite Ind, Jaiprakash Asso, Ambuja Cements, who among the top losers, were at 5.42 percent, 5.37 percent, 4.65 percent, 4.54 percent down respectively.

Sensex crashes; Nifty below 6000 level
The benchmark Nifty slipped down following the eavy sell-off in Shanghai. The BSE Sensex was below 20000 mark and the Nifty below 6000 level.
The Chinese media reports about price controls in commodities lead to the fall of Shanghai, which closed at 2,894.54, down 3.98 percent on Tuesday, Nov 16.
At 2.45 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,837.64 down 472.05 points and NSE Nifty was 5,977.45 down 144.15 points.
The most active in trading were Tata steels, SBI, ICICI Bank and Tata motors.
The top gainers were Barathi Airtel up 0.81 percent and Ranbaxy Labs up 0.59 percent.
The top losers were Ambuja Cements down 5.35 percent, Sterlite Ind down 5.34 percent, Hindalco down 5.20 percent and Reliance Com down 4.85 percent.

Trading continues on red, Nifty falls below 6K
The benchmark Nifty continued trading on negative note. Market extended loss followed by selling in oil & gas, capital goods, FMCG, technology, metal, cement and financial companies' shares.
The fall in Shanghai market geared the loss in trade.
At 12.45 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,930.29 down 379.40 points and NSE Nifty was 6,001.85 down 119.75 points.
The most active in trading were SBI, Tata Steel, ICICI Bank and Tata Motors.
The top gainer was Bharati Airtel up 1.11 percent.
The top losers were Sterlite Ind down 4.93 percent, Hindalco down 4.55 percent, Tata Motors down 4.31 percent and HCL Tech down 3.98 percent.

Market opens on -Ve note; Nifty struggles at 6100
Markets started trading on a negative note. The benchmark Nifty was trading at 6100 level.
Infosys, L&T, Hindalco, ICICI Bank, PNB, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ITC, SBI, HDFC Bank, Tata Power and Suzlon Energy were witnessing selling pressure.
Bharti Airtel, HDFC and JSPL were witnessing buying pressure.
At 9.30 hrs, BSE Sensex was 20263.69 down 46.00 points and NSE Nifty was 6102.30 down 19.30 points.
The most active in trading were Tata motors, SBI, Reliance and Bharati Airtel.
The top gainers were Reliance Com up 1.81 percent, Ranbaxy Labs up 1.80 percent, Bharati Airtel up 1.70 percent and Sun Pharma up 1.53 percent.
The top losers were Sterlite Ind down 1.18 percent, Larsen down 1.09 percent, Suzlon Energy down 1.02 percent and Sessa Goa down 1.01 percent.
