2G Scam: CAG report in Parl; both Houses adjourned

Both Houses of Parliament have adjourned following the Opposition ruckus over 2G spectrum scam. Rajya Sabha adjourned till 2:00 pm on Tuesday.
Severe uproar in Lokh Sabha lead Speaker to adjourn the House till Thursday, Nov 18. The Opposition MPs from Bharathiya Janatha Party (BJP) and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) demanded for Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe to the 2G spectrum scam.
The CAG report revealed that the process of allocation of spectrum benefited only few operators. It also added that the allocation process lacked transparency.
During the allocation, the advices of Prime Minister and Finance Minister have been ignored. The DoT did not follow the guidelines.
