Telecom Minister: After A Raja, who is next ?

Some of the suggested names from the DMK party were, MP Kanimozhi, Textiles Minister Dayanidhi Maran and another DMK leader TR Baalu.
Kanimozhi is DMK supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi's daughter a journalist by nature.
The second name, which has been suggested for the post is Textiles Minister Dayanidhi Maran, Karunanidhi's grand nephew. She was first elected to the Rajya Sabha in Jul 2007 and has been a member of various parliament committees of ministries including health, rural development, women empowerment and human resource development.
Baalu is also lobbying hard for the telecom portfolio. He was the shipping minister during UPA's first term.
However, while discussing about the possible next face at the post of Telecom Minister, Kanimozhi stated, "I am not sure. This is a party decision. The leader (Karunanidhi) of the party has to take a decision."
Following the meeting with Karunanidhi in Chennai, Raja resigned from his post on Nov 14, though he claimed, "In order to avoid embarrassment to the Government and maintain peace and harmony in Parliament, my leader (Karunanidhi) has advised me to resign."
