Drunk student attcks cops: Is Delhi safe?

New Delhi, Nov 15: Government keeps claiming that the capital of the country are safe for its citizens, but questions on its security again raised after the shocking report of attack on Delhi police by a student.

A drunk student on Sunday, Nov 14 reportedly attacked two constables and tried to snatch their weapons at Palika Bazar area of Connaught Place in New Delhi.

However, police arrested Amit Sehrawat, the accused and registered a case under sections 186, 353, 332, 356 and 511, stated a police sources on Nov 15.

Police sources claimed that when the cops stopped the accused for checking as he was allegedly drunk, Amit punched the two police constables.
