INCCA to publish India's climate change report

The report will reveal the impact of climate change on agriculture, health, water and forests in four regions, Himalayas, the Western Ghats, the coastal zone and the northeast of the country.
INCCA has prepared the report by comprising 220 scientists from 120 research institutions across the country.
Environment and Forests Minister Jairam Ramesh on Friday, Nov 12 said that it is important to study common and differentiated impact of climate change on various fronts.
"We need to know what would be the impact of climate change by 2030 and not wait for reports that are predicting for 2050 or later," said Jairam Ramesh.
"We will release a report on assessment on four sectors in four regions of the country on Tuesday," he added.
