Brit teacher to marry pupil he met when she was 16

London, Nov 13 (ANI): A 47-year-old UK teacher, who made headlines for having an affair with his teenage pupil, is set to tie the knot with her.

John Forrester caused a storm when he started a fling with 16-year-old schoolgirl Claire Bennett five years ago.

Consequently, the former music head at Kincorth Academy in Aberdeen was struck off and split from his wife to move in with his young lover.

Now the ex-teacher, who has had a variety of jobs since, and Claire - now 22 and mother of two of John's four kids - will wed in the city next Saturday.

A pal said Claire's family have given their blessing.

"It was all very controversial at the time because there was such a big age gap. But everyone is going to the wedding. Claire and John love each other," the Sun quoted the pal as saying. (ANI)
