Zombie mobile virus costs users $300,000 a day

The virus, known as Zombie, allows the hackers to take control of the phone and then to send infected links to other mobiles using the mobile contacts. Officials reported that Zombie virus has been infected a million mobile phones.
Chinese media reported that at least ten other applications similar to the one containing this Zombie virus have been detected since Sep 2010. Adding more trouble, antivirus softwares can't detect these malicious viruses.
Some reports revealed that Zombie software is costing phone owners about $300,000 per day.
Security experts asked users not to open suspicious links in text messages. Some others advised to go for pre-paid phone plans, so that account balance will be low compared to post-paid.
