NDFB kills Hindi speakers: PC to visit Assam

A senior government official of the state informed, "The meeting to be chaired by the home minister is expected to rework security strategies to counter the renewed threat posed by the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB)."
Since Monday, Nov 8, NDFB militants launched at least 11 separate attacks, targeting mostly Hindi speakers and people belonging to the minority community.
A latest release to media by the militant organisation stated, "Government should learn from the incidents, actions, serial blasts."
"Indians living in Bodo areas should be careful or face horrible consequences," it added.
The recent attacks were started hours after security forces killed an NDFB militant in a gun battle on Nov 8.
However, the NDFB on Nov 1 threatened to kill 20 or more people for every NDFB cadre killed by security forces in any gun battle.
